Our Story
David is from Merida. Megan is from Calgary. They met in Ottawa while working in property management, and after years of dreaming about building a life together in Yucatan, they made the move full-time in 2022.
What started as helping friends and family navigate the local Real Estate market quickly turned into something bigger. They realized that Americans and Canadians exploring Merida needed more than just a Real Estate agent — they needed someone who understood both worlds. Someone who could explain the legal process in plain English, recommend the right neighborhoods, and be honest about the challenges alongside the opportunities.
That is how Yucatan Real Estate Group was born. Today, David and Megan run a small, dedicated team that helps families buy property, sell their homes, and settle into life in Merida.
